I'm going to modify my oil pan for increased capacity. While the pan is off I want to upgrade the pump to the high pressure and/or volume. I have been warned that the hi output pump will overpressurize some portion of the oil system on a non-oil sprayed piston engine like my '95, but I don't see how, nor am I concerned. I want to know from anyone what the high output oil pump part# is.

I would like to know also about the oil pump. I had a pin-spray engine in my sub with really low miles that developed the crack cylinder problem. I put a new pump in it when I had the pan off to look for problems before I put it in my sub. Motor ran about 1000 miles before leaking water.
