I have a 2003 dmax with the lb7 engine. I know the turbos are different. I plan on running a stright pipe exhaust. I was wondering what the sound difference will be like compared to a lly? I like the whistle sound of the turbo spooling in the lly, but was wondering if lb7 will sound the same or what the difference will be...:confused::confused::confused:

I deleted my cat and muffler, I was pleased with the sound of the exhaust. Louder but not much, the turbo was much louder though.

a conical intake will make the turbo whistle louder.. as its a different one than the lly it will still sound different.
