Any thoughts? No gear indicating lights on dash either. Can a speed sensor cause the p0708 code? thanks

Is the CEL on....sounds like an NSBU issue if you ask me! Search NSBU and youll most likely find your answer!

Yea the CEL is on and it won't start. I can hear the starter relay click under the dash. I took off the oil pan to see the IMS, I believe it is bad. I can slide it over on the shaft and see the little Knurl (sp) on the shaft. It seems the IMS is stuck. I can't figure out how to get the shifter shaft out. I guess you have to pull the valve body off. Does anyone know how to get the shaft out enough to get the IMS off? thanks
