I want to put the tailights from an '04 chevy HD onto my GMC '03 HD. Are they compatable or do I need to rewire the lights to work. If anyone has any for sale I would like to buy them.

i think they will go right in....but not positive.

They go right in. I ran them on my last truck.

the will wire up, will either have to enlarge the socket locks on the tail lights or sand down the socket plugs themselves, also on my 03 gmc, it dosent have the lower light bulb for the corner to light up, just goto the local parts store and wire them in cheap pieces as well. if you need pics of it let me know.

Go to your local 'yard, find a junked Chevy, and take the lights, wire harnesses and all.....the harnesses will plug right in, in place of your existing lights, and all the lights will work as they should. Easy mod. Thats what I did on my '02 Chevy
