Does anyone had any of their steering upgrades?

Buck, I have a Fabtech steering Stabilizer and the difference is just awesome. The steering wheel hardly moves when I hit potholes. I combined that with some new Bilstein shocks all around and it was like driving a different truck!!!

Should be getting my full Fabtech upgrades (tierods, arms, and dual steering stabilizer kit) on soon. Along with 35" tires to match the lift. I had Bilstein 5100's put on instead of Fabtech's shocks. Just couldn't go with any other shock after putting some on before the lift.

Anyone interested in a set of stock sized Bilsteins with only 12K on them, pm me and I'll give you more than half off new price.

i've got them on my truck. .had it on for a couple weeks. like the stabilizer very much. the stock one is junk. time will tell on how the pitman and idler arms hold up but they sure look bigger than the stock ones!

The last time I checked(last Friday) the full Fabtech HD steering kit was on backorder for at least 60 days. I ended up ordering the Cognito steering kit, already have their pitman and idler arm braces.

I ordered a fabtech kit and bilstiens from john @ DPS less than a month ago and they were not on back order. Check with him, he's a vendor here.
Nice guy to deal with.

I called Fabtech,National Tire & Wheel,& Rocky Mountain Suspensions. They all told me some kits were released then recalled for sub-level parts, hence the reason for the backorder. You may want to call and see if your kit is affected.

Will any of this help on torque steer? I get it real bad on snow and ice while in 4x4.

The only Fabtech parts that I have seen on backorder are the tierods and tie rod ends, there is plenty of pittman, idler arm and stabalizer kits out there. Just what I've seen.

Yeah, those are part of the complete kit that I ordered, that must be why it's on backorder. I ended up getting the Cognito kit,had it in 4 days.Seems like pretty nice stuff. I'm thinkin about using one of his 12" kits on my 05 8.1.):h
