Hey Guys,Have a '02 Duramax as my Daily Driver and also Tow Vehicle for my Boat[5000 lbs.]Just ordered exhaust[Cool Duals] and want to pump Her up a bit more.I am asking from the Massive Knowledge Pool here for some suggestions on a Programmer/Chip to add a little more to my Truck.

Can't afford any Tranny Mods,Don't want to kill my Ally.Lookin' for something that will help Towing and add a little bit of Fun to the equation. What do you Guys suggest?[Thanks![Mike]

You can get tunes from 40HP to over 200HP for the LB7.

If you are looking for safety, probably an Edge module would be the ticket. If you stick to <65rwhp you should be fine.

For a good reliable increase in umph while staying within EGT and trans limits, the Van Aaken Smart box in either the 110 or 125HP levels is tough to beat. Easily upgradeable in the future if you outgrow it. Edge Juice is also good choice. More complicated, more power levels, more expensive, but excellent as well.

I would recommend an edge as well. I got one about 6-7 months ago and I love it, but I got addicted to the power and now my truck is in for tranny work and I have a quad 215 on the way, so look out for an addiction. Good Luck

I'm very happy with the Banks Six Gun for towing. I tow in level 2 or 3 depending on terrain and it has helped my towing mileage about 2mpg. 15.3K 5er. Not much MPG gain unloaded as I can't keep my foot out of it.
