i am running one on my psd but not on the dmax,it works great and will adjust power levels on any of the tuners or chips on a ford.

I was wondering how it might work the predator.

According to the ad it should adjust anything. Be interesting to know for sure. Looks like they hope it will sell with the dyno dominator as a package to compete with the edge and attitude.

The unit ties into the ICP on a Ford and fuel pressure on a D-max. So what it does is lower fuel pressure or raises it and the same thing on the ICP if its used on a Ford. So if you power box already increases either of these items it will not do much good as it counter acts the power adder. It will work when you have a power adder like a ECM program.

I do not recommend it. It's cheap and does not work as advertised. Had one and got rid of it.

On mine the power levels didn't work right. Under 50% was undrivable.
The high boost memory function did not work. Readings were way off.
The joystick controller was a pain to use. You had to get a feel for the way it liked to be manipulated.

The accessories it came with to mount it to the windshield insulted my intelligence. It's a rear view mirror holder with epoxy cement.

Sorry... but it wreaks of cheap and it is.

The BullyDog Downloader also was screwed up. I had trouble putting it back to stock. The Extreme tune was lousy. Performance was better. They wanted me to send everything back for updating.... I just bought it.. it was fresh stock.

I sent all of it back for a refund.

Maybe some of you guys had good luck with it but I didn't and read of a bunch more with the same issues.

They should get the stuff a little closer to working before selling the junk.

Note that this was for my Dodge Cummins, not a Dmax.

Actually Tony.... that's not how I feel, it's just exactly what happened.

Like right.... I'm gonna epoxy a cheap rearview mirror mount to my windshied
on the driver side.

To top it off, BullyDog advertises a 30 day moneyback guarantee. Boy did I have a time getting the vendor to honor it.

And I was warned before I bought it.

I don't see alot of bullydog posts, do their products not match up well with the dmax?

Not sure. I'm sure they make some decent stuff. A lot of people run their products on the Dodges. I just think competition to get stuff out before their competitors gets them in trouble sometimes.

One word of caution to anyone installing an egt probe from a BullyDog Monitor...

DISCONNECT THE BATTERIES

The egt wire is entirely covered in braided stainless steel. Once you connect it to the egt probe all you have to do is touch one of the two positive battery posts and look out!

I just put one in my truck yesterday, I'm happy with it so far. I haven't hooked up the EGT probe yet but everything else seems to work great. The mounting is kind of cheap but it works really well. You can also buy a single guage pod and mount it on the a-pillar and that looks really nice.

the outlook monitor works great on all fords and 2003-2005 dodge it hooks to the map sensor on fords and dodge and the datalink on dodge and on a 6.0 ford also the obd2 port

on the duramax bullydog is still working on the defuel. hopefully it will work soon. As a monitor it works great and it hooks up to same plugs as the dyno dominator.

the dyno dominator or the rapid power with outlook will defuel as they are defueling the module not the truck. when you use the monitor with a programmer then it has to defuel the truck.

the mounting is a rear view mirror bracket much better than the attitude also they have the pod mount. i am worging on my own that will fit the small hole by the radio.
