Been considering 3 trucks.

The following truck is the most interesting of the 3.

1995 GMC K1500 Suburban. 4x4 manual shift tcase.

118k miles. IP replaced 5000 miles ago at 113.7k. (I VIN checked it!)
Delivering dealer was Maryland, but it's been down south for past 8 years.
F engine, 3.42 gears, G80 limited slip (gov bomb), SLT (fully loaded like mine), rear lift gate w/ wiper. Bone stock.

Current owner is used car dealer and has had it past 8 years. I haven't carfaxed it, but probably will (anyone here got an account:rolleyes:?)

Everything works, no damage.

Questions:
Will my MaxE chip swap over since both trucks are 1995 F engine w/ 3.42 gears?
Will my pinnacle exhaust swap over from a 2wd to a 4wd?

Sounds like a truck worth taking a serious look at.

It's 300 miles away  and my wife is heading out of town for a week...so I've got the 3 kids (5yr, 2.5yr, 9mo) which isn't the best combo for truck hunting.

Owner has title in hand. Cost is gonna be around $7k most likely. But if it's clean it could last me a LOOOONNNNGGG time...

Yes on the chip question....

:thankyou2 :cool2:

That is REALLY good to know! It was one of my bigger concerns.

The MaxE wouldn't add value to mine (to the average buyer it might be a negative to know it is 'chipped') and I didn't want to have to buy it all over again...

If I had found that Burb 3 months ago for $7g within 300 miles of me, it would without a doubt be sitting in my garage instead of a the overpriced Ford that's sitting in there now. If it has gray leather like I think the photos show, I'm not sure I would have even tried dickering on the price.

Yep, it has grey leather. Even has the auto darkening rear view mirror (that my Chevy does not). I've got all the RPO codes.

I'm happy about the grey leather since I have grey husky floor liners I can move over.
Dicker with the seller??? I'm having to dicker with my wife! :joke:

(Not really, she's an absolute GEM...she let's me own a bunch of old stuff!)

She actually emaile me today and said to have him eat his paperwork fee and it's a deal... I looked at KBB and NADA and he's actually pretty much in line if the undercarraige is clean.

I'm not going to steal it from you (I already have a 95 I love), but if you don't mind can you please PM me where you found it at?
