There is tons of info on here on each of them if you do some looking. EFI Live is for someone who really wants to be able to fully customize their tune. If you think this is something that you want to do, then go for it. Otherwise, I would just stick with the PPE.
WOW i thought i spent money on my truck till i saw your sig.....nice job.
On the tuners though is the PPE worth the extra money?

As far as the PPE goes, I'd say it's the most powerful, reliable, plug and play setup you can get. IMO, EFI Live is for the person who has done everything else and wants to get that last bit of power out of the motor and who wants to be able to customize everything. I would not personally use EFI Live unless I was using a dyno to do all my tuning.

EFILive and PPE are very different products - both are great. Both get great reviews from users on this site, depending on the users requirements.
Think of PPE as a part that you add to your vehicle. You get instant power with measured results from a professional tuner.
Think of EFILive as a tool that you add to your vehicles tool box. You get the equipment to create tunes and log, and the equipment to diagnose your vehicle. At the end of the day, the tuning results are a product of you - so they are as good as (or as bad as) your ability. Most EFILive vendors will write you a custom tune with your purchase to assist with the learning curve and to give you a solid base to start writing your tunes.
Some other differences include EFILive offers TCM tuning, and we also allow you to tune multiple vehicles.
Hope this helps
Cheers

i have a brand new ppe standard for sale, fits 2001-2008 Duramax trucks. You can upgrade this with a code from ppe. probably cheaper this way. Pm me or you can find it in the marketplace.
