Has any one made the switch? Just wondering if it changed anything. I have been running rotella for ever and remember a member on here talking about his mileage went up when he put the synthetic in.

That was my experience maybe 1 mpg, but I mainly changed for a bit better lubrication at start-up.

The total cost of an oil change went up...

I saw about the same increase too, also I noticed that the motor idled and sounded alot smoother, especially in the cold weather. I used Schaeffer's 9000 5w-40, can't beat it for the money.
