Anyone have any suggestions on a good mount for a GPS in our trucks. I have the Garmin 60cs. Thanks!
Steve

These (http://www.pro-fit-intl.com/gps.html) guys might be able to help you out. I've never used their stuff but it looks promising.

Take a look at the Garmin Quest... comes with a handy windshield mount that works quite nicely... Also has excellent auto routing, address info, etc...:D

Unfortunately, I don't have any input however on how to mount a 60cs.

Not too sure what kind of mount you are looking for but I use all RAM Mounts for my 60CS. Here is there terrible company page: http://www.rammount.com. You can purchase them from www.gpscity.com. This way I have a handlebar mount on the ATV, and a large suction cup on the truck. I can transfer between the two mounts in seconds.

Here are various mounting options for the 60c mostly based on the RAM mount.

Anyone with any experience using the Garmin Street Pilot GPS.

Currently set it on the console, but would like a more permanent mount.

I just installed a Garmin iQue 3600 and mounted it next to the A pillar. It has worked great and I ran the wire under the dash and wired in a 12V socket for it to plug into. It stays out of the way and no one can really tell if i have it. I'll post a pic when I can.

I've been using the IQue for a year now and have the universal mounting kit. It sucks, it flies off the dash if I nail the throttle. I want to mount it to the right side of the radio in a permanent mount, what did you do to mount the speaker and volume control?

Window over by the a-pillar.

I plugged it in to the socket under the dash and I have it set in a way that the speaker is in the open. I can still hear it when it talks. I'm gonna change it around a little and get a Ram mount and a regular 12V power cord. When you use a regular 12V cord, the speaker on the Ique itself takes over.

I was looking for the Ique3600 for my wife (realtor, technically challanged), but have not been able to find 1 at any retailers, only on-line, which was making me wonder if falls short as a PDA...
So here's my question... how does it stack up as a PDA? as a GPS? Is it worth getting, or am I just better off getting her seperate devices?

I was going to buy a Garmin 2620 for out of the box performance but my wife got me an IQue for a birthday gift. I was set to return it but as I got to playing around with it I noticed a few things:
1. Ique is 400.00 cheaper
2. Ique has the PDA capability and can use all sorts of Palm software.
3. Ique has an SD card slot which makes it a little more useful.(pictures, music, games I.e.)
4. Ique will integrate directions with any entry in your address book.
5. Ique screen is much larger than 2620 so it's easier to read.
All in all, I like it...
6.

Lowrance GPS has just released a new GPS. It covers all of North America, it is all touch screen, and comes with its own Ram Mount (suction cup), and has a built in MP3 player. It is definitely one of the nicest units I have seen lately. It also comes in 3 screen sizes.
