Never heard of it, but thats ok! The sound you're hearing is from the turbo. If you had EFI-Live or HP Tuners you could change the turbo vanes at idle so it doesn't sound like that. search for LB7 idle and you'll find more info on this... It's normal if you don't tune it out, but this only applies to trucks with the VVT (variable vane turbo) which I believe is all LLY, LBZ, and LMM trucks. (Your 2006 is prolly a LLY or LBZ) Hope this helps! -David | ||
