I have an 04 lb7 with the edge attitude on it and thats it. When I drive around and come to a stop light my egt's are around 100. When I jump on it they will go up to 1000-1200 where I think they would be but will quickly come back down. 100 seems cool. In the morning I have seen it as low as 60-90 at idle after the truck has been running for awhile. I thought my probe was bad but it seems to go up to 1200 when I get on it. Any ideas?

100 doesn't sound right, mine idles at or between 250 300 degs. hot or cold outside, I only see 1200 degs. in a hard pull with camper in tow up hill sounds like the Edge is not reading it properly..

Interesting, I have yet to install my pyro from edge. Is it mounted in the right spot, I've heard you won't get a good reading otherwise.

You haven't installed your pyro from edge?

idling should instantly go to around 200 (cold start), after driving 350 should be as low as it gets.

mine would idle around 240, but seemed to jump up to 1200 way too easily. The probe went out on me soon after that, probably why it would hit 1200 so easily. 100 is definitely not right though for an egt. I like the Edge products for DD tuners, but don't trust any of the gauges.

Your temps seem about right other than the idle around 60. A safe level should not get over 1300.

No (lazy). I'm thinking about getting the BD manifold that's pre-tapped, and do it at the same time.

It only gets to 1200 under a hrd pull on level 3 or higher. But it seems to be working fine other than the idle temp. When it is warmed up it idles right around 100 -110. As soon as I get on it its around 3-400 and under a hrd load its above 1000. Seems like if it was faulty it would be faulty across the entire range not just at idle. It is mounted on the passenger rear manifold right as it comes off the block. Maybe I should call edge and see how much another prob costs.

Replaced my probe a couple of months ago. I think it was around $30. I was getting real flaky readings. I would get #'s real low like you were getting but I was also getting #'s up over 2200!! It has worked great since I replaced it. You may also want to check your connections and make sure they are tight and not touching anything and grounding out.
