I am hearing rumors that some larger versions of the Topkick and Kodiak trucks may be coming, possibly with the Cat C-9 or a 9.8L Duramax.

By larger, how big do you mean.. they go up to a class 7 already.

Technically, they go to class 8 with the tandems. The thing is if they went to 350-400 h.p., you could use a Chevy or GMC as a 10 yd. dump or larger roll-off truck. They have the chassis and axles for those jobs, just not quite enough beans under the hood.

That'll be cool, I hope they put the CATs back into the T-Series though, I saw a 2004 DMAX T8500 Tandem Oil Tanker yesterday, didn't have the cool "Diesel Power" sound as my 01 T8500 w/ a Cat has. Still it was one nice truck though, I would definitely get the C8500 if it had a CAT C-9 or C-11 that would be sweet
