I phoned the dealer and he told me they have discontinued the CDR valve
I got to get it aftermarket. Sounds kinda strange.

NAPA does sell them as a PCV valve for about 90$, I think i will try and clean mine with safety kleen first and see what the outcome is. It maybe cheaper to get one from the US of A.

Check the prices from the USA, but remember shipping/handling, and ask to make sure they ship my USPS, not NAPA or you can add up to $40 for the mystery fee.

Unless you're talking about saving BIG bucks, it likely ain't worth it, giz... go to NAPA and pay the extra $10 to have the part in your hand.

BTW - Heath has a section in his blog about the CDR valve, talks about testing and cleaning. Worth a read.

I just bought one last week from my local dealer for $50.00. It might have been a discount price since the owner is a friend of mine. They ordered it in so it can't be discontinued.

Hey Jifaire, sometimes it's hard to find good help now a days in northern alberta, things are just too busy. Anyway i'll try another dealer just for

I know what ya mean, giz... SSD has them for $70, but they insist on shipping UPS, so that'll cost you at least another $40 coming across the line. For nothing - it ain't a tax, it ain't duty, it's just a UPS thing.

Like I said, if you can't get it from a dealer cheaper, NAPA might be the best bet.

Or try cleaning it out. Heck, get one from a wreckers with less miles and clean THAT one out.

I just replaced mine last weekend. Our NAPA did not have one (neither did anyone else) but I asked for a CDR and not PCV. Got mine from the dealership for $70

I just looked online oreillys has one for $60. Mine needs one bad. I just noticed the other day the bottom of the turbo is covered in oil. So is the cdr valve around the grommet and the little rubber tube connected to it. Factory installed CDR valve.

Got mine yesterday at NAPA for $42.00. It took awhile to find it - just like some have said here Napa had it listed as a PCV - never heard of CDR and had no listing for it on their computers or the old fashion books.

Paid $90 here a few weeks back from local parts store. Dealer had them but not in stock, never asked a price but they're usually quite a bit more that parts store.
