Changing rotors and pads front and rear for the first time on this truck and just had a couple questions:
First, do the axles need to be pulled to get the rear rotors off, or will they slide right over the hub?
Also, anything in particular to watch out for, front OR rear? I've read about the caliper bolts being tight as heck, but any other quirks to be aware of?
Thanks for any input. :D

no need to pull the axles, and yes the caliper bolts are very tight. also, it would be a good idea to lube the slide bolts while in there and clean everything up

and maybe a little lock tight on the caliper mounting bracket bolts.

make sure you look under the slide/antirattle clips for rust and clean and seal them thats what does alot of damage.
Just look at the pics for the brake and rotors. Skip all other pics. Dont go cutting the wheel sensors.

Thanks guys, sounds like it'll be nothing more than a typical brake job. That's what I wanted to know. :)

By brakes have never worked better, I no longer get rust on one side of a disk, and my truck has never coasted further, since I followed heymccalls recommendations.
Another spring inspection, coming up!

I need to do this too. I think some of my sliding pins are froze/jammed
