I had the updated pedal assembly installed just after xmas and it is squeaking and groaning already.I phoned the dealer to confirm they had indeed installed it as I was having the flywheel/clutch done at the same time.He confirmed they had.I expressed my concern as I will be off warranty soon.He said to bring it back in.I don't know what they can do at this point to fix the problem other than install another assembly.I have Mac's single disc clutch/flywheel which puts more pressure on the pedal assembly as it's a heavier sprung pressure plate.
I hope the dealer does'nt decide to use this for an excuse.I know some guys have made their own pin up to fix the problem but I would only go that route if GM could'nt fix it and someone put together a kit to replace the pin that's causing the problem.Any comments or suggestions?

I had the updated clutch pedal assembly installed in November (along with a new flywheel). It began squeaking again within 2 days. I brought it back to the dealer 6 days ago and they determined the squeak was due to the clutch master cylinder cavitating. I wasn't too sure about that diagnosis but had them install a new clutch master cylinder anyway. To my amazement, the squeak is completely gone. It has not made a peep since. Good luck with yours.

had my pedal assembly replaced back in Oct. and was fine until it warmed up to 65 deg the other day and the squeak is back.
