What the heck do i have to do in order to get the full flash button to be active? am i doing something wrong? do i need another license to perform a full system flash for dsp?

CLose the software, plug the cable in first, reopen the software, the icons should be available then.

If you did not register the software by typing in the serial keys for the licenses it will default to demo mode.

its not that the cable is not recognized, its the fact that the full ecm/os flash button is not active

i still cannot do a full o/s flash for dsp due to inactive icon. EFILive support want to chime in?

Do you have a V1 commercial cable? Check in the V1 licensing info under the help tab in the tool bar. Make sure it says it's commercial. Did you try as mentioned to open the software WITH your cable already plugged into the computer? This is often necessary in order for the software to recognize that you do in fact have the commercial version of the software. It will connect to the cable after it's open, but won't recognize that you have a commercial cable and won't allow you to preform full flashes ;)

It's actually pretty easy.

Plug the cable in before you launch the EFILive software.

If you have a Commercial V1 or V2 it will recognize the cable as having the ability to do a full reflash.

i have tried all of the above mentioned methods. what in the heck is going on here? even upgraded to the latest efi 7.5. i am starting to get really frustrated
