Well i finally gave in and orderd another set of mirrors (this will be my second set). i didnt want to wait any longer. so i ordered some from P and G chevy. well i got them on and I went to go grab some dinner and I noticed the passenger side mirror was adjusting weird.. Well when we left dinner I noticed it was wobbeling really bad. (these are brand new mirrors). so i pulled over and the mirror glass was about to fall off.. I popped it back into the little things that move it but i was wondering if everyones pass mirrors adjusts kinda weird. cause its still doing it. sort of wants to move around a little when just barely hitting the adjuster. the mirror is tight though since i popped it back in...

any advice... does your passenger side mirror kinda like really touchy while adjusting?? I really dont wanna have to send that one back.. i guess i have bad luck for sure?

all these people with tow mirrors and no one with imput???

Mine do not seem touchy.

I have the factory tow mirrors on my LMM and they adjust fine. The go right where I point them and then stop. No vibration while driving either.

Id say your best bet is to send it back Jc. I have never had a problem like that, it may be something with the motor...

Take it to another dealer and let them fix it! Might cover it under warranty! :D

thats what i was thinking.. its still gm part.. i wonder if they would fix it just act like they are factory.. cause i really dont want to take it off again and send it back and be out a mirror till i get it returned

Mine came on my 07 classic. I have a hard time driving anyhting else now that I have gotten used to those mirrors. Even when not towing, they are great. Sounds like you may just need a different dealer or tech to install em for you. Good luck. Believe me you will love em once they get em right.

they are on the truck... and this isnt my first time putting on mirrors. but when the glass almost falls off while driving down the road (and i didnt install that) its kinda weird.. but i think its working. and if it does it again im taking it back to the dealer and having them look at it we'll see

What I want to know is, where is the best place to buy the slide out mirrors? I have stock, heated manual folding mirrors, but I want the RV mirrors that telescope in and out manually. Anyone want to trade? LOL

Not really. It's close but if I get behind my trailer and look right even with the side up towards the truck, I really can only see a tiny portion of the mirror. While driving, I feel it's close enough that I can see around the trailer, but I can't really see the side of my trailer unless I'm turning.

well i went to the dealer about my drivers side seat squeaking and the tow mirror. they found out it wasnt on the truck from the factory but i told them i purchased it through gm accessories. and they said they know its oem mirror so they said they are going to order another one. at first he said it wasnt covered then i started bitching cause he said the leather isnt covered cause they are aftermarket katskinz. but i purchased the covers from the dealership and im not having a problem with the covers im having a problem with the internals squeaking. he went to talk to the manager who i purchased the covers from and came back said they lubed up the seat (it dosnt squeek anymore as of now knock on wood). and that he didnt have a mirror in stock and is ordering one and will call when its in... so hopefully all is well...
