Does anyone know if this filter (I just bought 3) is a dual-pleat design like the OEM? I believe that they are all made by the same factory, but the filter and box do not state this fact!

I'm going to use them anyway, but I'm curious if they filter to the same level as the AC Delco.

The Wix/Napa Gold is not the same product as OEM. OEM, IIRC, is made by Racor.

Both are good filters. I use the Napa unit; got a great deal on them from Fleetfilter.

I have not cut open the Napa yet to know if it's a dual pleat design, however it's filtration level is sufficient for OEM specs.

Thanks.........I don't know where I got my info from, but I thought that all the fuel filters were made by the same company. I know this is not true for oil filters (re: Fram).

NG/WIX filters are the dual pleat design. They started doing that 3 or 4 years ago.
