Try 1 1/2 qts every 230 miles & cant find the dame leak or what is causing it to burn the coolant. By the way have you chked the cap? Those things get messed using DXCOOL.

i am having the same problem and found on the back of my head on the passenger side a little wet. i'm pretty shure its a head gasket. which makes no sense but thats the only place i find any antifreeze.

On a tip form Got Juice. :) I chked the turbo cooling hose last night. The small hose it appears to be 3/8" in size is a soft as a wet rag. The other seems ok "But" !!!! I can see no signs of leaking but that seems to be the main thread of a number of threads about coolant loss. I will change these hose. This is on a 01 LB7 w/213K. As I understand it there have been holes found on the inside of the turbo cooling hose that only leak when under load.
Good luck & keep us posted with your find/s on the coolalnt loss.
