I need help with a power brake problem Its chevy G-30 and the power brakes run off the power steering pump. Where should I post this? Under what? TY

I'm assuming that's the diesel G-van with a 6.2 or 6.5. You could post it in either of those sections and get an answer (since it's sort of related to those engines it can get by in that section - the "hydroboost" system - which is the system you have - was sort of diesel specific, although not entirely as some HD gas engine vehicles had that system as well). Alternatively you could post it in "other vehicles" if that doesn't apply, or possibly the "brake" section.

Just my thoughts... Hard to say though as I don't know exactly what the vehicle is or what the problem is.

The vehicle is a 1994 chevy van G-30 with 6.5 NA diesel and the problem is that the brakes require excessive effort to stop the truck. Where is the brake section? I don't see it?
