jc64 01-19-2005, 11:50 PM This is hard to explain. When I shift into 2nd gear (it does it in all gears, but 2nd has the most) and it is IN gear, there is about 1" to 1 1/2" of forward play in it. It feels strange. All the manual trans. that I have ever owned, when you put them into gear, and they are in gear, they come to a solid stop. Also, the gears don't seen to be in a straight up and down pattern, they seem to be just a hair off. MaxRock 01-22-2005, 11:10 AM My shifter is pretty tight...there is some play, but not much!!! The one time I felt a lot of slack, the nut holding the stick tight loosened.
