Where is the location on the engine? Mine keeps tripping the breaker everytime I drive in slushy snow conditions. Park the truck indoors overnight( like at the dealer) and everything works fine. I need to check the connection myself. Thanks :ro)

Perhaps your breaker is week?

It's on a 20 amp breaker with 12-3 wire, using an 10 foot 12-3 extension cord. Nothing else trips the breaker just the truck and only when driven in wet conditions. There is a short on the truck somewhere.

I'm on my third block heater now. They seem to leak (seep) coolant through the frost plug fitting and into the rubber boot at the plug end of the electrical cord. The heater is located on the passenger side under the exhaust manifold towrds the front of the engine. There is a protective aluminum foil wrapping around the cord and a rubber boot at the frost plug connection. I've burn't up 2 cords and blew the pins off the frost plug connection. The last time this happened I checked the cord myself and there was no evidence of external moisture entering the connection, definintley coolant. Dealer replaced each one under warranty.
