what is a complete dog house including fenders, hood, core support, grille, head lights, all chrome, bumper, and inner fenders(everything forward of the firewall, along with all 6 doors from a 1990 Suburban worth???? the stuff is perfect, great paint, no damage, no rust, its got the "quad" lights like the newer chevy's do.....

Well, the grill and core support would go in the mid-hundreds since the newer look is popular with guys having pre-87 trucks, but I can't imagine you would get that more for everything else when one considers you can get an ENTIRE '80's Suburban for $1500 these days.

got to agree with filmat11 out here in oregon i see running suburbans with no rust for a grand. i bought this one with a perfect dash board and electric doorlocks and windows bumpers and most of the front end for 200buckx already swapped the perfect windshield into my 84. most will go to the shreader soon. going to pull doors and nose and some inside stuff and the rest is outa here... filmat11 where you located in oregon.?

yeah but good rust free sheetmemtal is hard to come buy in the rust belt, since the stuff isnt worth anything, ill just use it on my suburban........

I'm outside of Wilsonville. Say, before you dispose of that Suburban, there might be a few small parts off it I could use -- like the side marker lights and the fender/door trim if it comes off easily, How about the steering column -- tilt, with keys? I could give a few bucks for these. But if its a hassle, no problem, take it to the shredder!

In my area a nice front clip without rust brings money... I looked at several. The one place sells stuff from down south, they had the clip like you are talking about for $500 (granted they tend to be an expensive place, but still...).

Don't know about the doors though... The last set of rust free doors I bought was $20... But I don't know about the rear doors.

if i couldnt get 400 or better out of it i was keeping it......i am getting the whole front clip for 55$ and all 6 doors for 55$.......plus any non-core items i can fill the 2 wheel cart with......its at a "you pull it" yard and they said whatever i can fit on the 2 wheel cart i can get for 55$, so i get a car hood, flip it over, ratchet strap it to the wheel barrow and set the front clip on it, then next week i put all 6 doors on it......


this place will be a very enterprising for me.....gonna start stripping any truck of its sheetmetal i can fit on a wheelbarrow.....mostly doors and front clips, i will eventually figure out how to get a bed on it.......
