This might sound crazy but I'm installing my new headlights. I removed the top bolts from the grill and dont see the bottom ones. Does the grill just pop out or what. Thanks for your help.

2 at the top you should see, and 1 in the middle, where the horn is.

I think that's all... 3 screws hold my grill in... I also got rid of the plastic filler peice between the grille and bumper cause it was broken all to hell by the PO. Can't remember if that has anything to do with it being held in.

Kinda gotta pull it away from the headlights, then it basically "falls off"

Those plastic clips/slots on the lower outside corners the grille are a bear. I usually end up taking the whole bottom piece of trim out, for fear of breaking those clips. They are the only real location method for the bottom of the grille.

Now you know why mine was broken and why I didn't replace it. :D

As WhiteK2500 says, you get 3 screws on top.

Then you get 3 clips at the bottom.
The 2 ones from the bumper lights sides come pretty easy : pull up the upper part of the clip and pull the grille, it will release. For the one in the middle bottom, grab a log stick, push with it on the inner part of the clip and pull the grill. You are done!

I thought there was a screw behind the turn singnels?

no, no screw, just a Censored clip.
I should have prefered a screw.

only 3 screws have worked just fine for me, and that's seeing 120 kph on the highway at least 2 times a day for work, offroading, it sits still too.

:confuzeld makes life easy when I have to pull the grill to paint it or fix something, install more horns... :D

What brand are your lights. I bought Matrix ones and they stick out past the grille a 1/2". Mine looks good from the front but like crap from the side. I pulled the grille back off to make sure the locator pins on the mount to the radator support was ok, and they were all the way in the support. I don't know why they are sticking out so much.

glass or composite

I had glass ones. They sat in the grille crooked and they got condensation in them and it ruined the chrome n the light. So I bought new ones from Summit Racing that are composite and they stick out past the grille.

Last pic reminds me what it's like when you get hit on the head and are about to pass out...

its because the lights are aftermarket and aftermarket parts suck.

aftermarket parts never fit as good as factory.
