I have the ATS stage 2 w/copilot and have not had any problems with it. Normal driving it shifts like stock, but when the power is needed the shifts are fast and firm. My truck is my daily driver and my puller.

Moved up into a new job at work and don't get out that way anymore. I'll be sure to stop in and see the new shop next time I get a trip out west.

I had someone install a kit like 3 years ago with the tripple loc, and ATS's clutch's and the copilot. It held up well to a lot of abuse and seemed to run cool, unless towing really heavy which when I added a bigger cooler fixed that prob. I don't know how the new 5 star converters are or the newer clutch's but my old stuff did good

I have a stage II with 5 Star and it is performing great. I leave the co-pilot set on Race Mode when I play, pull, or race, otherwise I leave it off for everyday driving.

When you going to come down this way? Would be cool seeing almost identical trucks (looks wise) going down the track:D

I will be down to Vegas in July I will swing by your shop. I will be down for the weekend so we might have to hit midnight mayhem:ro). By the way what did you do in the 1/4 after your trans build?

RaceHemi, how much power do you have in front of that Stage II?

I've dyno'd between 460-500rwhp or enough to push my 7050lb crew cab to 13.20-30's many, many times at the track and hundreds of street beatings. I leave the power level set to kill all the time.
