Hello all. Wondering if anyone could tell me how to adjust the emergency brakes on a 2001 Dodge 2500 Ram Diesel 6-speed. Pretty much if I set the emergency brakes, the truck will still move on a slope. Its not really grabbing. Someone told me to go about 10mph on reverse and get on the brakes and that will do it. Any inputs appreciated. Thanks.

its most likely the rear shoes out of adjustment you should adjust those first i belive your prob will go away. to do that there should be a slot in the backing plate but if not take the drum off on you should see the adjuster.
