Nope. I don't believe it either. The real proof is at the track. Going by MPH, I estimated the tune to be about 120HP, and from what I saw, I might be right.

What I should have isolated was the exhaust. I'm not sure how much the open exhaust was worth. But for practical purposes, nobody is going to run a stock exhaust with a 100HP or up tune.
It appears that an open exhaust verses a stock exhaust on a big tune might make a 40rwhp+ difference.

I have been playing with the 100hp tune for the last couple of days. I was wondering what type of egt's you are getting on that tune. After driving for a couple of days on the city streets....I beleive the 85 hp tune might be a little better for the daily driver. The throttle is too touch on the 100hp tune, and the smoke is pretty excessive.
I need to get some gauges so I can be more comfortable driving it maxed out. 40 hp from a 4" exhaust sounds nice....I wonder how much of that is just in the cat.
Can anyone explain why it is so loud? It isn't bad on the streets but on the highway it is very noticable. It is the sound that happens after 80mph (pilot injectors cutting off) on the stock tune....but now the noise is there at all speeds.
