I did search on seafoam here and came up kinda empty. Anybody got thoughts on where I might pour it in to clean the intake valve portion of my "new to me" 6.0L with 100,000 on the ticker?

ps: for those who helped on the front drive shaft replacement- all seems well - had her out in the snow with no funny noises or vibrations!! $130.00 for the shop to press in new greaseible u joints and about 4 hours of total wrenching at 21 deg.F - burrrrr......

You can use seafoam the same way you would gm's top engine cleaner....The most through way is to remove each plug and put some seafoam in each cylinder....Let it sit over night, then fire it up the next morning....By the way, you'll fog out the neighborhood when you do this :)

remove the pcv valve and let it suck into the engine through the pcv hose. hold the idle up to about 2k when doin this so it dont stall. When almost empty, drop the idle and let it kill the engine. Let it sit about 20 minutes then start it. While starting, hold your foot to the wood until it starts. That will allow any treatment to blow out of the cyls with out gas entering the cylinders. WOT when cranking is called clear flood mode. Will shut off the fuel.
