Anyone else using this addative in a cooler climate? I had some waxing problems yesterday at -5 F. I just switched to Primrose, from Rotella, I NEVER had any problems with rotella in temps up to -20 F.

Been using 409 for a couple of winters.........no issues so far.

Are you sure it's 409 and not 405?

Thanks for the reminder..

Just ordered another case of 405 from George

Been using since 2001 and no injector failures on any diesel yet. Not saying this is the answer but I don't want to stop now... I'm hooked.

The bottle says 409, so I assume whats in there is 409.

Are you using 3oz. per 25 gallons? Thats what I use and haven't had any problems yet, although I don't know if it's been -5 since I've had the truck (been close though).

I have been treating on the high side, 6oz of 409 per 25gal. 405 is the summer stuff, 409 is the winter blend.

Where in MI Redneck?
I am east of Lansing

How have you guy been mixing per tank? If I did the math right 2oz should be right.

I use 2 oz per fillup of the 405 and a shot of Jack Daniels for myself just incase the injectors do fail :)
