:)On 08 LMM. How much boost should it have at normal or what makes it change and why.???????????? How much soot will it show before during and after regen??????? What are the NORMAL EGTS before and after DPF??????? I think I read on here some place, that during regen the temps are around 1100 degrees????????? I have a Dashhawk PN13100; just got it installed and would like to know what to expect. I hope I said all this correctly. If not how about a little HELP. This is my first diesel. Absolutly stock.

Boost around 20 psi or so
Between 35 and 60 grams of soot
After 0 to 4
During regen the egts will be around 1100 to 1250 if the egt sensor sees 1299 it will sut down the regen on its own.
All of these readings will very from truck to truck.

Bear in mind that in addition to what goodwrench posted, the boost values will differ depending on how you are accelerating. There will be no boost at idle and you will see the highest boost readings during very hard acceleration. Boost pressure is a direct relation of exhaust pressure; the harder you push it, the higher your boost will be

Goodwrenchtech..... the shutting down at 1299º thing.... do you think thats why trucks that rune big tunes with the DPF get it clogged up and reduced engine power? Because whenever it trys to regen, they get on it sometime and the egts rise to over 1300 and it cancels regen, and they do it so much it can never regen and clog?

wildcat-

Insight Monitor

During regen I see 900-1300 on EGT 1 and EGT 2. Before I installed the tuner I was going into regen by 17 g everytime after installing the tuner 30g+. Reading through the Insight threads there seems to be quite a variance on when the trucks are going into regen. Mine seems to be on the lower end- particularly w/o tuner.

Non regen I see temp in the 300-600 range. 600 on the hwy at 70 mph.
