this is my idea of how to add a manual glow button to my dash. instead of fighting the pcm for control or disableing its ability to function on its own. i want to wire a generic starter sol in parallel to the existing controller that is the same as '85-on but put a momentary switch on the ground control wire to the starter sol. since its run from the same source i don't think that it will be a problem even if both are on at the same time although it is designed to be used as a manual glow time extender after the pcm turns them off. what do u guys think?

If it were wired right the new relay would carry the load of the glows, switched by the GP relay

well terminal "B" on the controller with the yellow wire is the control from the pcm, the "C" terminal is ground, and the "A" terminal pink wire goes to ign switch. so does the yellow control wire want 12v 5v or ground to activate the relay/controller? my aim was to simplify the system essentially having 2 controllers one bone stock and one free of sensors and/or pcm influence

lupey6.5,
My manual glow plug setup is just like you have in the pic, and it works great. I have had mine installed for quite a while now. I would not however ever touch the manual glow plug button when the key isn't in the off postition.
I think one thing is wrong with the pic I don't think the wait to start light is fed from the wires to the glow plug.
