I am going to be removing my turbo this weekend in order to install my pyro pre turbo.I know there are 4 bolts (15mm i was told) i am going to start drenching them in pent. oil so they will be easier to get out.Does anybody know what gaskets if any i will need.Do i need any special tools?Any tricks to this?
Im going to cover a shop rag in bearing grease and stuff it in the hole so that any shavings will stick to it when i am drilling and tapping the hole.

Crank the engine cold, drill and tap the hole - exhaust pressure will blow the tiny curly cast iron shavings out of the hole, and into your eyes, if you're not wearing safety glasses.

Should be able to get the job done before coolant temp gets up to normal op temps, if you have the drill and tap\handle prepped close by.

Do this with the turbo off I assume?

No, he's saying do it on the truck. Kinda a tight fit

Personally,I'd remove the exhaust and turbo as one peice. You have to remove the airbox, downpipe, crossover and the 8 -15mm exhaust bolts and drill and tap it off the truck.
