have a stock 2005 gmc sierra crew cab z-71. currently running 17x9 cragars with 0 offset and 5 inch backspacing with bfg all terrains, 285/70-17. tires scrub very, very little when turn hard (does not bother me). good snug fit. love the looks. anybody know if i would be able to run a 17x8.5 american racing with a -6 offset and 4.5 inch backspacing and still not have any problems? would the .5 inch narrower wheel compensate the -6 offset?
