So got my TTT mirrors today, installed them but have realised something.

Had to take off factory wind deflector on driver and pass side because they wont fit with Schfandeckers.

So how do I get the lovely 3M 2sided tape off my door?

Other problem is my door locks are now very stiff, did I do something wrong putting the door panels back on?

I would try mineral spirits or a bug and tar remover for the tape.

I just put the ttt mirrors on my truck also, I know whats wrong with your door locks. I had the same thing happen to me. If you pop the door lock slider trim piece off you'll see the L shaped rod that the slider trim engages with, look closer at that rod and you will see a small plastic U shaped clip that the rod is supposed to be snapped into. The rod probably popped out of that clip when you removed the door panel. Just snap the rod back into place in the clip and it should work smoothly again.You should be able to get to it through the hole after you pop out the lock slider trim,you don't need to remove the whole panel again. Hope that helps.

I saw the clips but it seemed the sliding rod was getting jammed between a black plastic piece and the outer door skin.

I looked at the rear doors and they don't have the plastic piece so I just removed them and now it's fine.

Just one of those things I guess.
