I got a letter awhile back reguarding the cluster repair so im finally getting around to taking it in. However I have socal guage mount with a dsp5 switch in it. I know i will return the truck back to stock programing, but what to do with the switch? it would be a pain to unhook the guages and everything to take the guage out. So should i just take it in and if they ask say i am thinking about getting efilive someday. The wont have any proof i have efi live will they?

thanks for the response, i didnt think they would give me to much hassle since its just a cluster. I guess we will find out here in a bit when i have them check it out.

I sure hope they don't give you any crap over that. I have read many horror stories on here of people going in for service work and the dealer noticing aftermarket adders like lifts, boost gauge & etc then flagging the VIN as modded and warranty voided.
I have a good dealer I've dealt with, thankfully, an old friend and he has taken good care of any problems, but I wouldn't go to anyone else, not after the stories I've heard and read.
Again, Good Luck and I hope it works in your favor.
