I'm planning to put Pioneer AVIC-N1 into my truck next little while....is there a way to remove the stock deck and still be able to use the on-star, boss sound system with the sub, seat memory and keep the chime when you leave key in while the door is open and maybe utilize the read controlls...and stuff like that or do I have to use fm mod and cut hole below just above the center console....thanks and anylinks to some after market modules would be nice if there are any...

Get the right module for onstar and bose and the other one for the controls and everything will work. I didn't get the one for the controls because it wasn't out at the time, haven't worried about it much.. The modules have a dinger and should work with the stock bose amp.

just my .02 you might wanna wait until the n2 comes out......At the shop weve had about 8 of the 10 weve sold returned for the motors going bad....pioneer is great when it comes to warranty repair but the n2 is supposed to have the glitches fixed and more options.......good luck though
