My rig has been in the shop now for eight days and counting for an oil leak. Service guy said the turbo oil return line was leaking. They had to do a major tear down just to get there. I hope this cures the problem and doesn't create others. I think I'am going back to purchase the extended warranty.

Smart move. Make sure to keep your receipt for the repairs incase something else should happen in that area. I had some injectors replaced on my 02 gasser and they some how let some plastic and shavings get into the cylinder. Had to take it back weeks later. The receipt was the only reason they fixed it for free.

Good advice I'am going to start a repair file. The work order receipts are beginning to pile up. I should get my truck back Thursday afternoon, I hope. The service advisor is vague with the answers. I'am going to sneak back to the shop and find the mechanic that worked on my truck. maybe he'll give me some detailed info. That's what I hate about dealer service. You never get to talk with the guy that worked on your vehicle.
