A few months ago I posted for some input on a clunk I had in the front end. It finally was bad enough to where I could get it to do it when jacked up. Found out to be that the bolts retaining the bushing in the upper A arms had come loose. Just thought I would write in and let yall know in case someone else maybe having the same issue.

I've read they need to tightened to 140 lb ft. As soon as I have some more time I will post some pics.

I have driven my truck for 5 days now and problem hasn't come back. Before tightening them down I would hear pop/cluck least 2 to 4 times just going back and forth to work. I've also attached some pics as asked.

those bolts are the alignment cam bolts. they adjust camber and caster. your alignment is probably out of whack

This has been covered before :) I had the same problem on my Burb. It was the crossmember bolts not being tight. I'll see if I can find the thread

Did you only re-torque the bolts, or did you move / add washers or something else? I think I seen an old post of yours that mentioned something about washers.
My truck has this same clunk...... only when turning to the left and stopping or dropping off my driveway curb. (I have the newest ISS and that's not it, I know).

I had a similar clunk and I had to find the problem for the dealer. It was the bushing in the crossmember where the torsion bars go through. hope this helps you.

I just retorqued the bolts and the sound was gone. One bolt WAS loose and the other was only kinda loose.
I can't even see my own pic right now (work will not alow photo bucket) sooo I'm not much more help other than go through and make sure all bolts are tight. I want to say mine were the bolts that are for the crossmember
