Check our MBRP....I have a 5" cat back, due to I do not want the DRONE while traveling 13 hrs @ 70 mph.

Install was super easy also.

If you want loud then a 5" turbo back straight pipe should do the trick.:D

Try a search for loud exhausts. It has been discussed at great lengths many times over!
Why try and reinvent the wheel?

In my openion a catback exhaust on an LB7 is plenty loud. Some people have experienced a low end torque loss when replacing the front pipe, I did. I had a Banks cat back on my 03 LB7 and loved it.

My sugestion would be to go with a 4" turbo back system. I lost no low end at all doing this on my 03 and loved the sound. We put a 4" Magnaflow turbo back on and the sound was awesome. If you just put a cat back on, then you won't have much more sound than with the stock system until WOT, then it would be half of what a turbo back will sound like. Does the truck even have a cat?

I have the Bank's 4" catback on my truck (LLY) and it is not loud at all, barely any noticeable difference than stock.

if i am not mistaken dont you have to go with a 4in cat delete and then up to 5in the rest of the way. i didnt think anyone made a 5in cat delete pipe but i could be wrong

That would be correct, seems all the trucks I have around here have cats so it's either turbo back or cat back. My opinion was of a Cal emissions truck with a cat in this case though, thanks for correcting me.

Nothing better than Clearfield, Utah. My Grandma lives there. :D 99 Powerstrokes didn't have cats, so he is ok, but you could have a cat and EGR so you should need the MBRP-T5024 kit.
