I started to hear a air compressor noise when I turn my key to the on position , I also noticied my vent controls no longer function . Is there a vacuum motor ?

Took the van to the dealer, a hose was kicked off under the dash . The van has an electric vacuum motor to operate the vents.

Woh, glad it was a van, because I was going to say there hasn't been any vac lines to the HVAC on a truck since '88ish.
