does anyone have a pic or bracket for the 700r4 TV cable. I've been looking at the J code engine I have and it doesn't have a provision on the mount for a cable, and the angle and turn would be wrong if it did mount there. I think the only place to mount it would be under the intake on a ?factory? or a homemade mount I'm thinking about making.

The bracket is about 8" long and lies under the fuel lines along the left edge of the block, under the intake. I don't have a picture but if you can find a "C" engine, it should have one on it. Most "C"s I've seen had the bracket on them.

The bracket that is under the fuel lines guides a steel rod that slips over the lower part of the throttle linkage and clips into the cable from the tv. The tv is attached to the rear crossover cover plate on the head. I will look through some of my spare parts and see if I have one. You are also going to need the switch assembly that attaches to the rh side of the injection pump.

If you could look for that it would be wonderful! It'd save alot of hassle then trying to make one.

I looked for the bracket and I struck out. Sorry, must have thrown it away while cleaning out things that I didn't think I would ever use.:(

Patracy,
There is a 6.2/700r4 injection pump transmission switch on ebay. I believe this switch controls torque converter lockup and it is desireable. Do a search on ebay motors for 6.2;)
