I am trying to get some info on a muffler delete pipe. What is the best thing to replace the muffler with? I have an extra piece of 4inch exhaust pipe that I was thinking about using as a delete pipe but I didnt know if they actually make something that might be easier to put in place then trying to rig something to work.

Well if you already have that extra piece of 4" pipe and you can make it work to replace the muffler then I would just use it and not waste your money cause if you buy a muffler delete pipe then that is about all you will get. Thats just my 2 cents though. Fill out your signature when you get a chance so we will know what all you have on your truck. Do you already have a 4" exhaust on your truck?

Thats was my main reason for asking not sure what the delete pipe is really, and if there is any thing different. Signature is fixed and should be showing now as well.

I think the only thing different with the muffler delete pipes is that the ends are flared out so it will fit over the existing exhaust. Maybe one of the other guys could chime in on this one if I'm wrong about that. But with yours you could just go and have it welded in. Save you some money for sure.

I bought my muffler delete pipe from www.puredieselpower.com granted my exhaust was stock so I wanted a 3.5 pipe to delete it with. pipe came prebent with flared ends and clamps...just cut the old one out and clamped in the new one. they do also have mbrp muffler delete pipes also, might be worth lookin at i guess at least.
