Well i finally got around to putting in a new fuel pickup because my fuel gauge would rise and fall sporadically, which drove me insane. I went to the dealer to get the pickup but they wanted $450 after their "discount". So i bought one off the Internet and they delivered to the door for $230. However i did not take the advice of other and buy the fuel line disconnect tool :badidea: . I got the tank dropped but couldn't get them off and the fuel disconnect tool i bought from checker didn't work so i gave in to anger and used a pair of wire cutters and cut them off. Long story short i got them off and the new one in and it works.

The two pictures are of the assembly, one is the fuel lines i cut off and the other one is why it wouldn't read my fuel level accurately. You can see the metal prongs on the left side are broken.

Moral of this stroy is just buy the fuel disconnect tool from Merchant.
