Is anyone running a Banks 6-Gun in a 325/600 cummins? If so how do you like it? Any issues with it? Thanks in advance.

If you're new to the dodge diesel scene I suggest you do some reading on www.turbodieselregister.com (http://www.turbodieselregister.com/) - they have a ton more info on dodges than this site, including upgrades on your new truck. I would check out the TST box if I were in your shoes before buying anything. I dont want to start a brand war or anything, but there is a lot of stuff out there besides banks - and it's much less expensive....bonus:D

Your best bet is TST. The Banks I have seen don't work very well on 600.

Some people like the 6-gun, some have had problems. Read on the TDR. I've heard about problems with them not backing their products. Enough to turn me away from their products. I now use two boxes stacked - TST PowerMax CR and the Edge EZ.

Beware of Banks from what I read. One guy blew his engine and Banks avoided him like the plague. Wouldn't return his calls or anything. In fact, when I was inquiring with Banks about purchasing the 6-gun, it was like pulling teeth to get them to even call me back for the sale. They'll never get my business. The customer service at Edge and TST are both second to NONE.

I will have to check out the TDR. I was asking because I had excellent luck on my d-max and was wondering how they were on a cummins. I am looking at options. Does the TST back down on power based on transmission shifting or torque converter locked or unlocked? I am looking at gaining some power but not wanting to do any transmission mods (48RE transmission). I will be turning kit down while heavy towing obviously. Thanks

Banks is the only company I know that offers the tranny monitoring.
