The truck was green and was settin way out back in the parking lot before the saturday night championships. Didnt know if it was anyone off of here or if anyone on here knew them. I think it looks pretty sharp too with the four stacks. Something a lil different

Those aren't 955's. I think they are the HELO MAXX 8's.

I think those wheels are probably helo maxx 8's... not too sure about the tires. I think it's got a little lift on it but not to much. SHARP TRUCK!!!

The wheels look like 20's and the tires look like 35's. So maybe a 6in susp lift is on it.

Maybe a 4" rancho or cognito? Or some helacious green keys

Looks like he's got his bars cranked up a lot...no lift because no cross member is dropped.

whitetrash21
02-20-2008, 12:11 AM
1st post and 21st post are the same truck, but its wearin diferent rubbers in the two pics.... looks like some kind of mud/bogger tire in the first and a more streetable tire in the 21st....

Nice Ben! Thats funny we both saw the same truck in different spots! Is it just me or do the stack look like they are attached to a piece of square tubing in the bed? Id think the exhaust would sound weird if you used tubing like that.

whitetrash21
02-20-2008, 09:51 PM
saw that too..... will square tubing change the sound???

deadsquirrel
02-20-2008, 09:58 PM
yes i definately notice the square tubing in person and thought it was wierd... but probly the only way to run the 4 stack setup he has going. i wanted to talk to the guy that owned the truck but he was no where around. it sure is an eye catcher and i wanted to hear it running!

deadsquirrel
02-20-2008, 10:00 PM
this gets me thinking...... how many stacks can you run??? :D:rolleyes::D:rolleyes:

Ive seen lots of trucks with a square tube in the bottom of bed to mount stacks, even built a set over a year ago on a strokless wonder

how'd u like the square tubing? different sound or what? any negatives?

SledMax
02-20-2008, 11:10 PM
No negatives easier neater install with a deeper tone. They sound good, dont have as much bark, matter of opinion though

SledMax
02-20-2008, 11:11 PM
u can mount the stacks anywhere u want or i suppose as many as u want but i only prefer 2 or 1 4 is way overkill

deadsquirrel
02-20-2008, 11:16 PM
hmmm thats good to know. what thickness square tubing did you use?

02-23-2008, 12:08 AM
That truck is sharp. I like it better with the off-road tires. Not everyday I see a reg cab 2500HD or even a 3500 thats not a dually.

i saw a flat bed dodge with square tubing under the bed so that just the stacks come through the bed.

It seems like you would have to get a body lift or something to clear the tube under there. Or is there enough room already?

i checked it over but i cant remember know just how it was setup
