Hi everyone, I have been told I can buy a Dodge Cummins for about 9,000 under the MSRP. Is this also true of the Duramax? Cost is an issue for me. If this is true, could any of you suggest what dealers to contact?
Thanks, Eileen

I found a dealer website saying they would do invoice pricing. Haven't heard back from them yet. http://www.parkwaychevrolet.net/chevy.html

try going to edmunds.com,kkb.com,gmbuypower.com(?), autobytel.com and others and ask for a quote.
Be careful buying out of state. Many states, even if you pay out of state sales tax on a new vehicle, you have to pay sales tax in your home state. Some states will not register a out of state vehicle until it has 7500 or more miles on it.

Don't know where you are located but if you can travel some, can wait for an ordered vehicle to come in try Bruce Glueck Chev and Marine in Jasper, Fl. Do an outright buy, no trade. Invoice minus any rebates and GM Card earnings. I've always enjoyed dealing with them. Check out his web site.

If you are close to NC Jim Cook's Chevrolet in Marion will give you a no haggle awesome deal! They have an excellent diesel mechanic also!

I would see if anyone can locate any leftover '04s. They would have at least $4k off invoice. I bought mine in July when the rebate started, it stickered for $41.5k, got it for $32.8K.
