Are there any tuners that will block the EGR code? I'm still looking for a blocker, but I plan on installing one once I get one. I was planning on ordering a tuner also. I found a deal on a Superchips tuner, but I don't know if it will block codes. I know it will delete or reset codes, along with re-calibrating the spedo. I have bigger than stock tires, so I need that option also.
Does anyone have any experience with the Superchips tuner, or recommend another tuner? :beerchug:

So, if they can read/clear codes, does that mean they can block them too? I'm trying to figure out if I need a fingerstick or not. I'd rather not use one if I can find a programmer that will block those codes.

I know nothing about your codes but I would go with a PPE, they are great!

EFI live will disable the EGR system and clear codes. The only problem is that you have to be either very computer savvy or find somebody to write you a tune. However, whats great is that the tune can be made for your just your truck and driving style and needs. PPE is also a good alternative.

It sounds like the PPE is very popular, but the one I found is expensive. I found a good deal on a Superchips programmer, so I ordered that one. If I block the EGR and get a code, I'll go from there. :beerchug:
