I bet it will make the difference at the pump real quick. actually, lugging any engine with a lower rear diff ratio typically LOWERS mileage efficiency (this topic has been discussed on every automotive car forum for years) at any speed over 55 mph, you'll get an exponential decrease in gas mileage due to wind-resistance involving trigonometric identities and formulas that apply to large vehicles skleppy 02-18-2008, 03:07 AM Yeah but with both an extra gear and some higher gears, who knows what the mileage will turn out to be.
